If you order a cloud hosting plan from us and if you use our email services, you will be able to activate spam filters for any of the mailboxes that you create from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. With just a few clicks of the mouse, you can select between five separate protection levels. If you start receiving spam, you can start with the lowest level and then gradually boost the level until you stop receiving spam. We rely on one of the best and most popular filters available called SpamAssassin. It analyzes the header section and the body of each message that you get and determines a spam score, based on which it either erases a certain message or allows it to reach your mailbox. The Hepsia Control Panel will also permit you to create custom filters and either get rid of unasked-for messages or forward them to a third-party address like spam@domain.com where you can examine them once more after that.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
In case you take advantage of one of our semi-dedicated packages, you will not have to worry about unsolicited bulk email messages occupying your mailboxes every now and then, as you can take advantage of the popular SpamAssassin anti-spam filter that we offer with every semi-dedicated hosting account. Our in-house created Hepsia hosting Control Panel will permit you to activate the filter for any mailbox with a few clicks of the mouse and you can select any of the five protection levels – from very low to very high. The level can be altered at any time if, for instance, genuine email messages get blocked, or if junk messages go through and reach your inbox. To be on the safe side, you can choose all filtered email messages to be redirected to a special mailbox like spam@your-domain.com and not to be erased. In this way, you can check them from time to time to make sure that you haven’t missed out on a legitimate message.
