Custom Error Pages in Cloud Hosting
You will be able to set up personalized error pages for all of your websites with ease when you use any of our Linux cloud hosting packages. This can easily be done through the Hosted Domains part of the Hepsia CP, provided with all accounts and once you go there, you could set your customized pages independently for any domain or subdomain. You should upload the files to your account beforehand and enter the links to them during the process. This feature could be de-activated whenever you want and the options you will be able to choose from are a conventional page from our system or a default Apache server page. Custom made error pages may be set with an .htaccess file as well. The file should be put in the domain or subdomain folder and it should contain some system code and links to the pages. If you're not tech-savvy, you can copy the whole content needed for the file from our Help section.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Incorporating your pages for each of the four error types to any web site hosted through a semi-dedicated server account with us will be very uncomplicated and will not take more than a few clicks. Once you upload the files inside your account, you could navigate to the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia Control Panel and edit the domains and subdomains listed there through an intuitive interface with drop-down navigation. You could select what page should show up for each and every error type. The options are a standard Apache web server page or a page from our system, and custom pages. Should you choose the last option, you must type in the link to each page in your account, then save the change. The link or the sort of page which will be shown in case a user encounters an error can be changed at any time. If you're more experienced, you can use an .htaccess file in order to set tailor-made error pages too, instead of using our integrated generator software instrument, and if you choose this option, the file should be placed in the root directory of a specific domain or subdomain.
